Preventive Recommendations:

Protect yourself by practicing excellent personal hygiene. Remember to do the following:

1. Be the steward of your own health and potential impact of any illness on others; if you are sick, stay home.
2. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
3. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
4. Wash or sanitize your hands before eating.
5. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
6. Consider altering greetings (avoid handshakes) to be cautious.

While ensuring the health and safety of you and your family is very important at this time, it is also very important that you have proper estate planning measures in place. While using online forms can be convenient, one needs to understand that laws vary by state, and the execution of a general form may or may not be compliant with such laws.
