Biography
Before attending law school, Matthew had two previous careers. After undergraduate school, he was a trim carpenter, installing doors and detailed woodwork in high-end residential projects, primarily in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
For fifteen years prior to law school, Matthew worked as a private tutor. He met most of his students for test preparation: SATs and ACTs for the high school students, and GREs, GMATs, and LSATs for the older students. Matthew also assisted many of his students with their academic coursework in a range of subjects, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, and writing courses.
Matthew joined Jorgensen, Brownell & Pepin, P.C., in 2024, working with the construction litigation team. In addition to construction defect cases, he works on various civil litigation cases and assists clients with business consultations. Before joining the firm, Matthew worked in civil litigation, insurance defense, estate planning, and family law.
